@hotgirlmegtravels: Shwmae 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I recently finished hiking from Cardiff to Conwy solo 🥳 I followed the Cambrian Way for the majority of my trip, but also used the Snowdonia way (main and mountain routes) and followed some other tracks here and there. I'm in the process of editing mini vlogs of my trip that I filmed each day. It was surprisingly remote and features a day of climbing over 2100m in elevation! I had to detour on a few sections due to bad weather and gear breakdowns (more on this soon). This means that I have about 75km of trail I did not hike - I will be returning to Wales to fill in the gap over the next few weeks 😊 It was a bit of a mental struggle to not walk in one continuous line as I have mostly managed to do that on other hikes - but I had no choice at the time! Wonderful images,a beautiful part of Wales. My Mum and Dad are from that area, he loved walking and I have many childhood memories of those iconic mountains.Both parents are gone now so these views and scenery moved me somewhat.
