@alcomoto: After further diagnosis, we’ve traced the issue back to what appears to be an ECU fault rather than the sensor itself. Our next step is to source a donor ECU, transfer the coding and data from the original unit, and fit it to the vehicle to see if that resolves the issue. It’s the quickest and most cost-effective solution for the customer before considering more expensive options. Modern vehicles rely heavily on sensors and control modules, and while they can help improve efficiency, emissions, and performance, they can also make diagnosing faults a lot more complicated when things don’t go to plan.
