I do this at work all the time. People like to panic and come to me. I’ll find out the situation is only 30 seconds old and they haven’t tried to problem solve for themselves yet. A simple “yes, give me 10 minutes and I’ll come over” is enough for them to at least whittle down the problem instead of be in panic mode

I just get ghosted and have learned to let being ghosted not offend me because there is no other choice. Next time I don’t talk to them but I also can’t regret it because I need someone to talk to so how else would I find them unless I try talking to people I think will talk?
