How can I be angry with someone who chose only what was best for him? There comes a moment in every person's life when he has to save one of his heart and one of his burdens. If he chose his peace, how can I call this decision an insult to myself? Perhaps the hardest test of love is that you can stop someone but you don't. Not because you love, but because you know that people who stop out of compulsion are never anyone's. Sorrow has its place, lack is also felt. Sometimes habit comes so quietly that the whole day passes in its wake. But how can I make this pain the reason for this suffering? It would be an insult to love. Some people don't leave because you are bad, they leave because they have to take their life in another direction. Not every departure is infidelity and not every separation is anyone's fault. Therefore, I have neither anger nor complaint for this, just a silent recognition that every human being has the right to save his soul, even if the cost is the devastation of another's heart.

میں کسی ایسے شخص سے کیسے ناراض ہو سکتا ہوں جس نے صرف وہی انتخاب کیا جو اس کے لیے بہتر ہو؟ ہر انسان کی زندگی میں ایک لمحہ ایسا آتا ہے جب اسے اپنا ایک دل اور اپنا ایک بوجھ بچانا پڑتا ہے۔ اگر اس نے اپنا امن پسند کیا تو میں اس فیصلے کو اپنی توہین کیسے کہہ سکتا ہوں۔ شاید محبت کا سب سے مشکل امتحان یہ ہے کہ آپ کسی کو روک سکتے ہیں لیکن روک نہیں سکتے۔ اس لیے نہیں کہ آپ محبت کرتے ہیں، بلکہ اس لیے کہ آپ جانتے ہیں کہ جو لوگ مجبوری سے باز آتے ہیں وہ کبھی کسی کے نہیں ہوتے۔ دکھ اپنی جگہ ہے، کمی بھی محسوس ہوتی ہے۔ کبھی کبھی عادت اتنی خاموشی سے آجاتی ہے کہ سارا دن اس کی لپیٹ میں گزر جاتا ہے۔ لیکن میں اس درد کو اس تکلیف کی وجہ کیسے بنا سکتا ہوں۔ یہ محبت کی توہین ہوگی۔ کچھ لوگ اس لیے نہیں چھوڑتے کہ آپ برے ہیں، وہ اس لیے چھوڑ دیتے ہیں کہ انھیں اپنی زندگی کسی اور سمت لے جانا ہے۔ ہر جدائی بے وفائی نہیں اور ہر جدائی کسی کا قصور نہیں اس لیے مجھے اس پر نہ کوئی غصہ ہے اور نہ شکایت، بس ایک خاموشی تسلیم ہے کہ ہر انسان کو اپنی جان بچانے کا حق ہے، چاہے اس کی قیمت کسی دوسرے کے دل کی تباہی ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔
