Listen, I get the mom being upset, but you can’t just put homicide charges without evidence just because two stupid kids tried to hide an accident they were there for! They need some consequences for lying, buy homicide is a stretch!

I think homicide is a big stretch. All they did so we know is was to not call 911 and dumped his clothing and stuff. Not too smart and not a decent thing to do but that doesn’t equate murder. They already said they did it because they were scared and considering our current climate, you can see why they would be.

Now let’s imagine you let your only white son go to lake with his two black friends. And your son dies. But they act like they don’t know what happen and hid his clothes. How would you feel? How would you feel hearing “it’s a boy” knowing what they do to little white boys here. And when u cry out black people pass and say “get over it! Why didn’t the swim to him and try to help him to shore? Why not call 911? Yes by time they got there he probably would have already drown but why not try? If that was a complete stranger, I would do those things. Let alone for a friend… They clearly did not care about Daniel.

Had they just called 911 immediately, it would have been ruled 100% an accident. They destroyed evidence.. those can be very serious charges now. I hope the family gets the justice they deserve for their loss and going through months of agony before having any answers.
