It has never been confirmed that Higurashi is connected to Umineko (though the creator may simply be playing with us), just as we can't know for sure if Eua is Featherine Augustus Aurora, although it could be Hanyu, even though it's too much of a coincidence that Featherine's disc is damaged in the same way Hanyu damaged Eua's. In any case, I also don't believe that Satoko is Lambdadelta, nor that Rika is Bernkastel, since Featherine said that Lambdadelta was made from a cake (in fact, its inside is literally cake) and Bernkastel was Featherine's black cat.

technically she started drinking wine after letting go of a "part" of herself before becoming a witch in a connecting series (umineko) though hanyuu is sort of like her spirit God and is also the reason she's a "timelooper" from fragments of alt universes with each of her deaths. She basically using hanyuus powers to find a "destined" world where she doesn't die. I think it was confirmed during the MEGURI arc w satoko and Eua.
