I blow it with my breath if I want to breathe a life into my spell. I usually “clap” it out though. (I quickly wave my hand at it and say out.)

I’m mostly a snuffer, but I also use air (typically a oracle card or even greenery to put it out). All depends on the ritual, spell, or meditation practice.

For me, it depended on the spell. Mostly I am a snuffer. I have blown them out when the cats get to close and won’t listen.

I used to blow them out but was told that this is blowing away our wishes / intentions. So I use a candle snuffer for extinguishing the candles if not left for burn down.
