It was a group of autograph hounds (likely resellers looking to make money off them) that followed him to his private residence in Paris. Completely understandable reaction to being followed and chased down, in my opinion.

He is just a normal person just like anyone else, who knows he didn’t get enough sleep and was feeling off that day. Even if they were fans, getting followed to your residence would put you off too.
