But the one I currently have in my sink, literally works way better and clogs way less easy. Why would I downgrade but I already have that simple and works just fine? If you can answer that question logically I will buy your product.

You need to put your finger in dirty water. Make sure you leave the lever rod unscrewed and thrown away. 😊
