@jumebug_tcg: We always talk about bad but what is the good, the green flags in the One piece TCg that makes this game feel so good. How do people make your experience better? #onepiecetcg #onepiece #nerdynakama #greenflags #tcg

People that actually ask to look at your card to read it’s effect rather than just grabbing it

If you’re new to the game and you’re playing an experienced player, and they help you and after/ during tell you the mistakes you’re making. And if they offer to help you with your deck

i always explain what im doing/card effects, some people say not to give out that information but i don't find it fun when I win by my opponent misunderstanding an effect/misplaying. and it skips them having to ask what each of my cards does! cause i always be askin

My greatest pet peeve is mfs saying stuff like “That’s pretty good” like I get it’s a silence breaker but it’s just annoying to me. But the best thing to me is when someone doesn’t mess around too much when cutting the deck. I’ve played against plenty that are pretty aggressive with cards, and it’s not like I bling out my decks, I just don’t want my cards damaged.

For me it’s giving the newbie advice to beat you while playing for me it helps them better understand their deck and how to play turns better

I like an opponent can actually joke around while playing, like everyone is so serious. You can tell who’s playing for the love of the game rather than just for some stupid winner cards.

what i try to do and hopefully see from my opponent is a graceful loss. what i mean is they can be upset that they lost but I hope they had great time playing the game. I try to do this as well but there are times when the losses do get to you so always try to keep a smile.

My 2 green flags is 1) to ask first before I touch my opponent’s cards and vise versa; gotta love me some proper etiquette and 2) communicating while having fun; the best matches are vibing with your opponent. And yes it can get sweaty at times but just as long as you’re both having fun. It’s still a game at the end of the day

I constantly remind players of the -2000 on their bench from kreig effect, even put a counter out on their turn.

When someone makes it clear that the overall goal is for everyone to have fun, each player wants to win, but we can still joke around and be cool

People who let take backs happen on small mistakes. Locals should be chill! No need to rule shark people specially if they’re new

to expand on that, I like friendly opponents. When someone can play and have a decent chat about the game it’s so much more fun.

The community of OP, every locals i go too even if they know me or haven’t after almost every game we discuss the match ups and how we both coulda maybe won or did something different. Its one of the best feelings to know the community out there to help vs just getting stomped every week. Also promoting people to play what they want vs always meta.

I never know what I should or shouldn’t be explaining because some players are like “Yep I know what that does” and I’m like “Oh ok 😅”

in optcg specifically players have been really good about keeping an organized boardstate that clearly communicates all public information! ive played tons of card games at a high level and have seen some wildly misrepresented boardstates due to how they organized their cards

stating your effects, your on plays, when you're using leader ability, how many don up and cards in hand at the end of turn. this stuff is simple. statt doing it if you dont. I promose you it'll make the game better for everyone
