If Muhammad is the Paraclete of John 14, why does John 14:17 say the Paraclete "lives with you and will be in you", describing an indwelling spirit, not a future Arabian prophet born 600 years later? The Greek word is Parakletos meaning Helper and Advocate. If you want to change it to Periklytos meaning praised one, you need to provide a single Greek manuscript with that reading. None exist. 2. If Islam claims to preserve the original message of Jesus, why does the Quran written 600 years later contradict every first century source including hostile Roman and Jewish ones on the crucifixion? Tacitus, Josephus, and every secular historian confirm it. Bart Ehrman who you love to quote calls it one of the most historically certain facts about the ancient world. Why should a 7th century document override six independent 1st century sources? 3. If the earliest creed in 1 Corinthians 15 which Paul explicitly says he received predates his own influence and is dated by virtually all scholars including skeptical ones to within 2-5 years of the crucifixion, how exactly did Paul corrupt a resurrection faith that already existed before he had any influence on Christianity? 4. If the Bible has been corrupted as Islam claims, why do the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in 1947 confirm that the Old Testament text we have today matches manuscripts from 200 BC with remarkable accuracy? Where is the manuscript evidence of corruption? Name the scribe, the date, the location. 5. If Islam claims the Bible was corrupted by Christians, at what specific point in history did this corruption occur, who did it, and why do we have no manuscript evidence of an uncorrupted version that matches the Quran's theology?
