Another thing is that Azula is smart. In the cartoon she quickly shoots down Aang because she knows that even she would not be able to keep up with him in the avatar state. but in the live action they make her and Aang have a fight for no reason whatsoever except than to show how powerful the avatar state is. The entire live action makes it seem like Azula is a cocky little teenager rather than a cold, calculating and psycopatic warrior. 😞

also it made both Azula and Aang stupid bcuz in the OG it was meant to be a shock, a smart move from Azula, striking before he gets any powerful and here it's just dumb Aang vs dumb Azula.

1. it’s wasn’t the whole season of book 3 it was only just first ep of the finale. If we’re being lenient you can say end of ep 18 and some ep 9. 2. that moment was setup in the ep with convo that Long Feng and Aang had. Doesn’t change it from being a terrible show but accurately still important.

well him hesitating CAN lead into a conflict for him next season on if he should hesitate for the firelord, since him hesitating now almost got him killed, creating more conflict for him. we will see if they actually do this plotline next season though.
