No it’s not. It’s would’ve cost hundreds of thousands of American lives to get the Japanese to surrender. They said they’d fight to the last man woman and child. These bombs ended the war and saved lives.

Us was expecting to lose almost a million troops if it was a land invasion. Millions of Japanese citizens would’ve perished. Also Soviet aggression was on the rise. Truman saved the world that day.

Mind you the US continuously warned the Japanese people that the bombs we’re coming but the Japanese government so caught up in their own heads denied all the warnings and the people who saw their emperor as their superior didn’t heed the constant warnings. And it would’ve been much worse had we forced troops to land because they were so desperate they were having people kill themselves for their country and not to mention the atrocities they committed and would’ve kept committing

No, humanities greatest sin is Unit 731. The only reason we know the body is 50-75% water is because of Unit 731. Nanking also happened at the same time which might be even worse. Everyone always wants to forget these happened but they were truly the worst things that happened during the war, no debate.
