also, Boothills character stories explicitly tell us that the IPC controls historical records, like Oswaldos name was erased from the records so he couldnt be blamed and on planetary records, it says the locals on Boothills planet were wiped out after an unknown disaster, they're genuinely so awful

lwk can anyone fact check what I'm about to say? it's something that's been bugging me for a while but I remember there being a side quest in penecony Abt a genius who wanted to create a weapon but he got no funds to continue that research and for whatever reason, the ipc heard Abt it and gave him like funds in exchange for the blueprint or ownership (?) of it, and the genius couldn't resist the temptation and agreed and said weapon was use to destroy a planet right?

apparently around 66% of planets (that have been visited by the IPC ofc) become like boothills planet or gweneviers refuge planet (I remember that from belebog, 1.4 event... either topaz told us which is UNRELIABLE AS FUCK or bronya (or sm else like himeko, Seeley, TB) dug that information from somewhere... I don't remember 100% but I think that was it... also for any more skippers, Gwenevier (IF that's how you spell it, sorry for the missnaming) is guinafein the 4*. she was a princess of a planet that died/fell down due to war (I don't remember which) and she, along with her 9(?) brothers were the only survivors. they went on an IPC occupied planet where Guin got less braty... also the air was toxic on that planet.

has no one noticed the side trailblaze missions we go on sometimes (like belobog, or the slumbernana one) have SOMETHING to do with the IPC? like most ot even ALL filler patches tend to have some IPC relation to them.

i like to think that the people working for the ipc (like the grunts and stonehearts perhaps) are also victims to the ipc, but that doesnt mean they are innocent either; they can be made aware and hate what they do, but its either to keep doing it or get punished for calling it out.
