جب انسان اپنی پوری طاقت اور خلوص کے ساتھ کسی مقصد یا کسی انسان کے لیے لڑتا ہے، تو اسے توقع ہوتی ہے کہ اس کی اس قربانی کی قدر کی جائے گی۔ لیکن اکثر اوقات نتیجہ توقعات کے برعکس نکلتا ہے۔ شاعر کہتا ہے کہ جن کے لیے آپ اپنی زندگی کے اہم ترین معرکے سر کرتے ہیں، وہی لوگ کسی معمولی سی بات یا کسی ادنیٰ مفاد (جسے یہاں "گندی مچھلی" سے تشبیہ دی گئی ہے) کی خاطر آپ کے خلاف کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں۔ منافقت کا المیہ یہ مضمون ہمیں اس بات کا ادراک دلاتا ہے کہ دنیا میں اخلاص کی قیمت بہت کم ہے۔ لوگ اکثر آپ کے ساتھ اس وقت تک کھڑے رہتے ہیں جب تک ان کا اپنا مفاد وابستہ ہوتا ہے۔ جیسے ہی کوئی چھوٹی سی تبدیلی آتی ہے یا کوئی نیا لالچ سامنے آتا ہے، وہ اپنے پرانے محسنوں کو بھول کر ان کے مقابل کھڑے ہونے میں ذرا بھی ہچکچاہٹ محسوس نہیں کرتے۔ نتیجہ یہ شاعری دراصل ان لوگوں کے لیے ایک تنبیہ ہے جو حد سے زیادہ جذباتی ہو کر رشتوں میں خود کو فنا کر دیتے ہیں۔ یہ ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ اپنی وفاداری اور قربانی کا انتخاب سوچ سمجھ کر کریں اور یہ توقع نہ رکھیں کہ آپ کی ہر قربانی کا صلہ آپ کو وفاداری کی شکل میں ہی ملے گا۔ دنیا کی حقیقت یہی ہے کہ جب ظرف چھوٹا ہو، تو بڑی قربانیوں کی کوئی اہمیت باقی نہیں رہتی۔ When a person fights for a goal or another person with all their strength and sincerity, they expect their sacrifice to be valued. However, the outcome is often the opposite of these expectations. The poet suggests that those for whom you fight the most important battles of your life may turn against you for the sake of something trivial or a petty interest (metaphorically referred to here as a "dirty little fish"). **The Tragedy of Hypocrisy** This content makes us realize that the value of sincerity is very low in this world. People often stand by you only as long as their own interests are involved. As soon as a minor change occurs or a new temptation arises, they forget their former benefactors and do not hesitate at all to stand against them. **Conclusion** This poetry is actually a warning to those who become overly emotional and lose themselves in relationships. It teaches us to choose where to invest our loyalty and sacrifice carefully, and not to expect that the reward for every sacrifice will always be returned in the form of loyalty.
