@aqeelproperty: Quoted £6,000 for the driveway. Got it done for £3,000. Tarmac's on. Seven centimetres thick, motorway grade stuff. The contractor said he'd look after me and laid proper motorway grade tarmac, so shout out to him for that. We've left the concrete path in, and there's a border going around the edge to frame it off. Still need to neaten the landscaping and I'll probably get it jet washed, but off the bat it looks really good. With the black windows and the black door, it just sets the whole house off. Stand back a little and you can see the aesthetic come together. On durability and cost, tarmac was perfect. Good price and it'll last. So if you're doing a site, factor it in.
