this video is misleading. this tab allows you to decide which applications are allowed to screenshot/record, it does not automatically screenshot or record anything on its own. this purely allows you to monitor other apps that may have been screenshoting/recording your screen. i don't like microslop and i do believe a lot of things they do are stupid, and they did release a feature that could screenshot things on its own before, but this isn't it. i feel it is important to get your facts straight even when hating.

This is on in my setting but the only things i have in the activity are the times i personally stream to my friends on discord. Nothing is happening that i’m aware of and if there are things happening behind the scenes why would they share it openly? Changing this setting wont change anything but make it harder for me to do my normal activities with my online friends.

God I hate hearing "just use Linux bro" nah man. that is such a cope. half my steam library doesn't work on Linux. graphics driver support is abysmal. linux is good for server hosting, your own security system managing, tunneling devices you want to be off your main network and filtered through custom distros made for it. for everything else and the majority of the population, Linux aint it.

It’s not on by default. This is a scare tactic. And it’s only available on certain editions. Even the original poster is lying. I work for a school, and I have to setup 400 laptops a year. This setting is never on by default. You have to turn it on yourself.
