So what you’re saying is as a consumer I have to talk to you to schedule then I have to have a technician come out then I have to have a sales guy come out and then after all of that, then I can get the work done or decide to go with someone else why not just teach the technicians how to sell

yeah basically you're saying that your guys are going to be pushing for sale for a brand new equipment so they can make more money even though it's not necessary and can be reparable but they going to push for brand new equipment but this is USA everywhere it's no secret this is the country of the commission percentage 😂

yep I've got rid of three HVAC guys because they tried pushing me to get a new unit instead of doing the maintenance that I called them for they tried telling me that the indoor and outdoor unit would go out within a year that was 5 years ago I just do it myself I clean my outdoor unit indoor unit a coil and blower motor once a year when a capacitor goes bad or a fan motor goes bad I replace it myself the only thing I call them for is to check freon

The term “educate” is disgusting in this sense. They are not educating in any sense, rather greasing the wheels for a sales person to come in and sell a new system. This incentives not fixing the problem, rather flipping sales

This is a salesman right here folks! “Educating the customer on a brand new system” 😂😂😂 the reason people hate us hvac techs is because car salesmen have gotten into our trade!

Creating sales men and not techs. This is a major issue in the industry currently. First think most ask when I interview, “do u do spiffs”. I instantly don’t want them if they want commission.

This creates an industry of customers getting ripped off that’s where I come in on my side jobs and give them reasonable decent prices where we both benefit from it.
