Y’all gotta realize something, the point of Nh is not to give a damn about anything or anyone. I don’t hate Caroline but I felt like her nh still she cared about being in control (before Stefan pushed her into no control). Elena on the other hand her personality portrayed her passion, care, kindness, and she would NEVER kill anyone. Her nh was portrayed better because it showed that Elena didn’t care who might get hurt, what would happen, her nearly killing Caroline and Bonnie (not justifying it) but it showed more nh than Caroline. (That’s my opinion)

nope. caroline treated elena terribly (and I am not gonna only say in s1, because... lets be real...she treated her poorly throughout the entire show) and elena gave it back to her when her humanity was off. so there it was 50-50.
