@flipstoprofit: I think it’s fair to have conversations about the ethics of reselling. No industry is above criticism. What I don’t understand is why so much of that conversation stops with small family businesses selling secondhand clothing. If we’re talking ethics, let’s also talk about overproduction, textile waste, fast fashion, and the labor practices. Resellers are participating in a market built around giving existing items a longer life. I’m not saying reselling is perfect. I’m saying the conversation is much bigger than resellers.
