This is literally just my opinion- Lestat has been realizing how wronged he was by his mother and I think does know what he went through wasn’t ok as a human and vampire. That why he had a boundary. No one told him it was wrong. This is the time he wanted the one person he was in love with to understand and not judge him. It was good he threw out there he never judged Louis with his delusions of Fraudia and the other chick. He’s a lot and a mess but damn that man will try to understand Louis
