The same hospital I went to 😅 I lost 35 lbs in 3 months, I was vomitting for 11 days in a row during the month.. I was SICK SICK. I went to their ER to be told it was CHS.. the scan came back I had internal bleeding everywhere and a 6cm mass of endometriosis in my bowels BLOCKING IT. I was set up with one of their obgyns that assured me she could help me with my case, opened me up, took out a little bit, left my organs GLUED together and the massive mass in my bowels still. I found a doctor who's an excision specialist in the area and when he saw what she did he was so HORRIFIED, he called her office ! So that being said i am SO sorry you were treated that way.. please contact Dr. Jordan Klebanoff at mainline health in newtown square he works out of lankenau and bryn mawr hospital. You will be happy you did I promise

There’s a specialist in the Philly area Dr klebanoff I live like 1 hr 40 mins away but I will be traveling there to see him I’ve heard he’s a really great Dr and he will be doing my surgery next month so just possible Rec for you so you may not have to travel far

I have however had a wonderful experience with Dr Olivia Higgins for my endometriosis. She’s in Rochester, NY, not too far from Philly if you are able to travel for her!

I am so sorry you’re going through this! The providers you seen are most definitely medically gaslighting you! It may be helpful to seek different medical care! I am not a medical professional however I had endo all over many of my organs including my kidneys, ureter, bladder, bowels colon, diaphragm, and so many other places, your pain is not all in your head! From what you describe it sounds like it has grown onto or very close to many of your other organs! (I say had because I just had excision surgery.)You do not deserve to be treated this way! Every endo warrior experiences their symptoms differently however your/our experiences are still valid and deserve compassion. PS I was put into a medical menopause. It was amazing for symptoms relief temporarily. Once my insurance stop covering it I was in worse pain and had wayy worse symptoms than prior. My endo also grew rampant during that time. My surgeon said this was the most endo she has seen in me and it should have been less than she had seen prior due to the menopause I was in. Wishing you so much compassion and routes for symptom relief!💛

I went throu sooo many doctors till I found this guy who was a OBgyn specialist, he took one look at me ordered a ultrasound and had me in surgery 2 weeks later. I had multiple ruptured cysts, flared up cysts, just a mess. No one believed me until him and it took a year to get to him! I’m so sorry ur going throu this.

You’re not alone. I’ve been to 6 primary doctors, 3 gynecologists, 2 back doctors and 1 pelvic doctor. For only the pelvic doctor to listen to me. She put me on Orilissa that treats pain from endometriosis until she gets me in with a new gynecologist that’s treats endometriosis as well as possible hysterectomy as well…

Struggled for 30 years not knowing what I had. Many doctors told me my pain was normal. I’m still learning to forgive myself for trusting them. I feel like trusting them caused such a long delay of 30 years. Just had exploratory surgery with a specialist at 45 years old…..they found Stage 3 endo. Yes, I’m in medical debt. I feel your pain. Sorry this is happening to you.

You want an endo surgeon that specializes excision not ablation. The ablation surgeon just continues ablation and never does the exploratory surgery you need. you may need to go to a larger city for ones that accept insurance. this has been my experience at least. I hope this helps you in some way, this journey is awful and I wish it on no one.

I'm sorry you're going through this! My story is similar to yours. I had to quit going to doctors and have just dealt with the excruciating pain because of medical debt. I asked a gyno if it was possible to have endo on my left kidney. her exact response, "It's possible, but not probable." 😡

If you can go to Pittsburgh for stuff there is an endo clinic and I got an appt within a week online. I have surgery consult scheduled and it’s been a relief after having endo since I was 16 and no help even with the diagnosis. Prayers!!!!
