I read over 700 books last year, so it was fun to just go thru each month and see where I could place them. by February this year I could see the gaps in my reading, and had to purposely pick up about 7 to fit specific prompts. really fun!

I finished 2.0 with 235 books, 1 book per prompt (I went a bit extra on the variable length option prompts!). I've started logging reading for 3.0 but not reading anything too specific for it yet as a bit of a break. I already miss the focus on diversity from 2.0. I think 3.0 will take fewer books to complete, but some of the prompts are harder

I don't think I would enjoy doing a challenge this proscriptive, I will probably never participate, but I did stay the whole time because it's a real accomplishment and I was curious about your favorites! there are some great books in that list!

I had a lot of fun with HRCYED 2.0. It really expanded my reading. I also used one book with zero double ups. I’m doing 3.0 and it seems harder because it seems to be based a lot on the covers.
