@twinkleeventscompanyx: It was a hot one this weekend 🤭 I spent most of the morning straightening these candles up, only for them to droop over again five minutes later. By the afternoon, I could literally pick them up and they’d bend in half. 🤣 We knew we couldn’t leave them on the tables looking like that, and there was absolutely no chance we were lighting them in that heat either🔥 So rather than trying to force something that clearly wasn’t going to work, we made the call to take them all off with the hope of popping them back on later once the marquee had cooled down. After chatting with the mother of the bride, we both agreed it was best to leave them off altogether. Was I stressed? Of course, because my couple had paid for these to be on their tables. But sometimes we can’t help our situation and the best decision is knowing when to change the plan. The guests had the most incredible day, nobody cared that the candles had disappeared, and that’s exactly how it should be. 🤍 This bloody British weather… we’re either battling rain or melting candles. There is no in-between 😂 Save this as your reminder that this might happen to your candles if there’s a heat wave in your marquee 🤭
