As a licensed esthetician, this has my jaw on the floor. Absolutely none of this is true. You should absolutely be using spf ESPECIALLY if you’re using MT1 or MT2…burning your skin is far worse than not using spf. I would also love to see the data showing spray/self tanning is bad, cause what?!

Neither of those peptides have been studied well enough for us to know all of the long-term effects, especially mt2. We don’t know whether years of stimulating melanocytes increases the risk of skin cancer, whether it affects other organs over decades, whether repeated use has hormonal or cardiovascular consequences, or if impurities in underground products have their own health risks. This is misleading.

Mt1 and 2 aren’t safe if you already have freckles and moles. I’m going to stick to gradual tanning lotions. Some self tanners have been around for decades and haven’t been linked to cancer or anything like that…

Someone PLEASE respond to me with the chemicals in spray tanning. Cause I’m sitting here staring at my spray tan solutions reading the ingredients absolutely baffled cause there are no chemicals. So please enlighten me.
