We started boundaries with our daughter, honestly probably from about one years old. I have always showered, if I just sat down to eat my hot meal, guess what I’m eating it hot… when I did home workouts, that was my time and I wasn’t stopping in 1 million times to help with dumb stuff. Because you are right! You can’t give from an empty cup!

POURING FROM AN EMPTY CUP! this was so hard for me to unlearn. 2 things i do for myself and im VERY VERY V E R Y selfish about, i DO NOT under any circumstances take my children to get my nails/toes done with me, and i go get a wax every 5 weeks (they obviously don’t come with me) those are MY ACTIVITIES, my ME TIME. they are the “extra expense” i could give up, but refuse to, because they fill my cup.
