Most people think the goal is simply to move the weight from A to B. But your real goal should be to make your muscles do as much of the work as possible. That means controlling the weight on the way down instead of letting gravity take over. The longer your muscles have to stay switched on, the harder they’re working. And the harder they work, the more muscle you build. A simple way to do that is to control the eccentric (lowering) phase of each rep by counting 3 sounds in your head. Happy training 💪
