Ok wow tea opens so many options! It's all the same plant, just picked/dried/aged/roasted differently. So you can have lots of variety- black, green, white, oolong, matcha, etc!

hi im seeing the comments about sun tea and i would NOT recommend it!!! because of it being left out for more than 4 hours, it harbors lots of bacteria and probably wouldn’t be safe for you :( my family makes sun tea all the time and it almost always grows little white spots after a day!

Unpopular opinion as a southerners, but sun tea tastes like it has gone sour (which is a term for it going bad, and I only explain that because I have met a number of people who dont know what sour tea means)

I don’t know if you can eat like the glucose powder in its caramelised form, but if you have seen the videos of Chinese tea you can also try toasting the tea first then adding glucose powder and caramelising it then add water and steep it so it has more caramel flavor
