I never did and my teens and I are so, so close. We played games, and I would read to them, but I think independent play and peer play is way more important.

My favorite thing to do is play “hair salon” or “do my makeup”so I can sit or lay down. The only struggle I have is not falling asleep 😅🤭

I use to feel soooo bad when I didn’t want to play with my kids 😭 It’s so refreshing to hear I wasn’t the only one that felt this way. Now that my kids are older I wish I would have played with them more 😞
