![NYONYA ACAR 🌶️🥒 🥕 🥬 🍍 Our very own “kimchi” represent is a pickled vege dish that can be enjoyed cold, straight out from the fridge and will last about 2 weeks. Best enjoyed with rice, noodles and bread. [Vege/fruit used:] 🔸Japanese cucumber, 2 (if use local cucumber, please deseed!) 🔸Carrot, 1 (really fat one) 🔸Cabbage, 1 (a super small one) 🔸Long beans, about 5 or 6 strands 🔸Baby pineapple, 1 (so far I’ve only seen Giant Kota Damansara has it, I got it only RM1.90! Sometimes it’s RM2.50) [Sambal paste] 🔸Shallots, about 6 🔸Garlic, 1 whole 🔸Fresh turmeric, about 2 small ones 🔸Galangal, about 2 🔸Lemongrass, 2 stalks 🔸Candlenuts, 4 🔸Belacan, about the size of your pinky finger 🔸Dried chillies, 5 spicy ones and 3 Yidu so it’s medium spicy [Seasoning] 🔸Salt 🔸Sugar (this one unfortunately we use quite a lot cuz this dish is known to be sweet) 🔸Vinegar (we have to use quite a lot of this too) [Don’t forget:] 🔸Crushed peanuts 🔸Toasted white sesame seeds](/video/cover/7424450570779364616.webp)
