I got the kyleena iud & I had my period for 4 months straight. Just ended it a few days ago😀😀😀 side effects include severe depression & hating life. Still not gonna take it out tho.

When I first got the iud I had 2 periods. I bleed for about 15 days the first period and then the next month I had a shorter cycle and now I no longer get a period. It takes time for your body to get used to it

They told me to be on my period when I got it, I waited until it was pretty much stopped and told them I just have light periods, I went 5 years with no period while I was on it. But definitely had other side effects.
