I remember when Trump was in office the first time and did his tax reform, as a single mom making around $85k, my taxes went up $5k and my boyfriend’s (now my husband) was making around $600k and his taxes went down $30k. He didn’t notice the $30k, but I sure as hell noticed the $5k. Tax the rich… and I am saying this now as a person in a family that brings in a lot of money now… tax me. Let my tax dollars go to causes that I believe in… healthcare for all, education for everyone, food for everyone, daycare for everyone.
