It's not selling that's challenging. It's finding someone that would at least be open to a conversation. Today, people will only let you in through a warm intro. Any advice on this?

as a mortgage loans sales person, I have to say that our product isn't that difficult to sell. it's just rates and finding solutions for clients. and being chummy with people who will refer you businesses.

Being personable is also a must. You're able to confidently uncover the needs and deliver a resolution. Some people aren't capable of that. Makes sense though. 👏👏👏

That’s what I always do|did, sometimes a costumer told me I want this and I didn’t just give it to them, I asked what is it for and so on. I sold them what they need not what they want. And they were happy with that and came again sometimes it was less expensive so it was even better for them, so they came again to me, cos they kew I make them happy, sometimes it was more expensive like 1/3 more but had 4x the stuff that the first thing had and they had to get less other stuff so at the end they payed the same or a few % more and had better stuff, told their friends and they were looking for me to buy the stuff and they told my boss when they asked if they can help? No I am looking for the colleague with glasses and a beard.
