I got my first tattoos at a guy run shop and was like “huh I guess it’s supposed to feel like someone is slicing my arm” then I went to the woman run shop I go to now and she felt the one on my forearm and just said “oh sweetie, he scarred the shit out of you! Was he trying to hit bone!” She has such a light hand and comfortable shop I fell asleep! 10/10 I recommend everyone to try a woman owned shop and see the difference for themselves

I would have loved this. My first tattoo on my forearm is still raised and I got it a year ago. I just got a spine piece and a female did it this time. She made me feel so comfortable. After 3hre of that tattoo needle on my spine, I needed numbing cream and she said it’s not being a p*ssy. It’s doing what you need to do

I got so much crap for using numbing spray but it was my first shop tattoo at shop prices. All my others were down by my friend during highschool so going to a shop I didn’t want to move and mess up
