It’s easy, comforting, and one of my husband’s all-time favorites 🤍 Ingredients: - 24 oz smoked sausage, sliced - olive oil - 1 onion, sliced - 3 bell peppers, sliced - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 tsp paprika - 1 tsp cayenne - 1 tsp oregano - 1 tsp thyme - 1 tsp onion powder - 1 tsp garlic powder - salt & pepper - 1 tbsp tomato paste - 1/4 cup chicken broth - 15 oz can fire roasted tomatoes - juice of 1 lemon - grated Parmesan - fresh parsley Instructions: - heat olive oil in a large pan and cook sausage until browned, remove from pan - add in onion, bell peppers, and garlic, and sauté until fragrant - add tomato paste to pan and cook down for 1 minute - mix in seasonings - pour chicken broth in pan and scrape brown bits from bottom of pan - mix in tomatoes and add sausage back to pan - lower heat to medium low, cover with a lid, and simmer 10 minutes - remove lid and squeeze lemon juice over top - serve with rice and top with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley #easydinnerideas #easymeals #weeknightdinner #easydinner #dinnerwithme

Stir in the butter until melted and glossy. Let this cool.  Spread over the caramel peanut layer. Chill briefly so the top can firm up.
