when the FBI gets involved or starts snooping around a case a crime has definitely been committed. They are not going to say anything right now until the District of Attorney speaks with the family. FBI are specialized in cases like this so they will go and dig deeper than the detective will ever do. I can't wait to see how this is going to unfold

too much time has lapsed to collect physical evidence of value.. crime scenes have been trampled and or altered... auto vehicles, boats, homes, sheds all. need to be searched forensically,, GPS & phones need track & traces, official statements need to be nailed down and witnesses need interviewing along with digital media collection...chile boo..the D.A. is a day late & a dollar short & will be selling more of their " drunk & drowned theory" smh

A step in the right direction, I guess. I believe that the are doing a forensic analysis of Nolan’s phone, mother stated apps and messages were wiped or deleted, that will surely shed some light. The police should have immediately taken the boy whose home the phone and keys were at, at least for questioning. Why did they lie about the phone and his keys being at their home, on the Xbox? He was not water logged, apparently that’s suspicious, especially if officials are saying he drowned.
