my dad. non stop yapper and gets plssed when other people talk. hell just go "yea ok anyways" and continue to talk about what he wants. they don't want to have a conversation, just an audience.

i hate the people that have one neverending stream of dialogue by the time i've formed a response to one thing they said they're already on a different topic and there's no use even opening my mouth. sometimes it can be nice when i'm not in a super talkative mood but i'm still social, but most of the time it's not like that, it's them talking at me and not giving me a chance to even think. it's disrespectful and i'm gonna tune you out and go on my phone.

You can also interrupt, and then ask them to resume. Like “sorry, I interrupted you. so you were saying X Y Z?”
