Don't listen to the others. Nod Krai was entirely an attempt to justify the nonsense they already did. They didn't connect any of the lore points they promised; in fact, they made it worse. They made a character full of angelic features just to make her last minute moon goddess

the primary purpose of nod krai was to tie together loose ends in the lore, primarily about teyvat's moons. if dottore had ended up getting what he wanted, teyvat would have been doomed 😭😭 he wanted to change the world for his own gain, columbina wanted to preserve the world for everyone

Personally, it seemed like EVERYTHING about Nod Krai was a complete mess, as if each writer at Hoyo was working on a story without talking to the others and then they just put it all together in the game

Ur a dialogue skipper and it shows Dottore is manipulative him trying to get traveler on his side was a lie he would never fix the world or help us in any way but Columbina did fix the world she has trapped herself in the moon so Dottore wouldn't kill her friends or even worse become a god and whilst she was trapped she killed herself for all the nodkrai?? How is that not world changing? She also helped Ninnin on his quest to send a message to space which quite literally WAS THE MOST WORLD CHANGING THING TRAVELER CAUGHT THAT MESSAGE

Here’s a list of all of Columbina’s feats that most people in this fandom decide to ignore: 1, She protected Hiisi Island during no the cannon blast. 2, She saved Flins, Traveler, and Sandrine from Rerir, and then in the next act saved the whole Nod Krai gang from Rerir. 3, Stood her ground against Rerir while weakened and dying, and threw him into the Moon Gate. 4, Put herself into the Moon Gate to stop Dottore from getting the Trilunar Authority. And 5, she created Kuuhvaki for the whole of Nod Krai and played a vital role in defeating Dottore. Considering all this, idk how the argument stands that Columbina is a “damsel in distress.” Maybe instead of “skipping around” and complaining, do your research first. 😭✌️

In my opinion, the start with Rerir was a 10/10 it was extremely good. But the times when we had to save Columbina was so long and sometimes useless, the only good thing in Nod-Krai was Dottore other things were...bad...

Deadass I‘m a big lore player and Nod krai is my least favourite simply because the storyline was a mess to me…are we fighting Rerir or Dottore?? Also because half of the characters that were interesting werent even from nod krai (Arle was already liked, Alice and Nicole were highly awaited, Varka was awaited, Dottore was liked, Bina was also quite hyped as well as Sandrone ever since we saw that fatui trailer. The sinners like Rerir were also hyped.) something that irritates me is that, it was always 7 archons, 7 nations, 7 elements. Khaenri‘ah literally got destroyed because they didnt have an archon?? Yes they have moon goddesses but last time I checked , their relationship with Phanes wasn’t the best 😭
