I’m thinking it’s representative of the relationships between our characters with my main guesses being the proxies and Carole Arna and Remielle with the OG Sunbringer. A long goodbye in my mind reads as a goodbye that took too long to say or a goodbye that has been said but was not received in time.

the long goodbye had lot of meaning, it could probably ramielle former teammates came back again and became one of the stronger ethereal. remember when ramiele doesnt supprised? maybe she's looking for her former teammates all this time and maybe the reason sunbringer and ramielle were trying to kill eachother because instead of putting their old friend in piece. maybe the sunbringers lock them inside the hollow under rosecaelifer and maybe they used them as either fuel energy. like either can come from something like the creator silinder thingy that so thic

i feel like the story could go 2 routes: -A litteral goodbye,where Remielle has to accept and let go of her corrupted teamates and we,seeing as Pyrois is in alot of wanted posters,the proxies might need to stay away from Billy and Cissia for some unknown reason OR one of the siblings is captured or even worse killed (not that likely) -It might be metaphorical,of which is meant to represent the act of accepting the loss of someone and letting go:maybe Remielle finally accepts that no matter what her teamates are gone and she can only put them out of their misery (basically almost the same as the first one honestly...)
