Ribery had the better trophy closet, but it's an individual award at the end of the day. I think if you put up numbers AND you have the silverware, then you deserve the Ballon D'or. But if there's a choice between a player that won everything but his stats were average against a player that won nothing but his stats far exceeded everyone, then he deserves it
