HI i promise that i am not a robot and you absolutely don’t have to respond to this BUT i’m in highschool in Australia and i’m taking Politics as a stage 2 subject (year 12) and we have a 2000 word essay on a contemporary topic of our choosing due in a couple of weeks, and i have chosen the united states embargo on cuba as my subject (as well as an argument that australia should strengthen our economic relationship with them) and one requirement is to include some quotes from a direct “interview” with someone knowledgeable on the topic. I’m not expecting a professional interview or anything, but i was wondering if i could ask you a few questions about cuba (particularly what it was like when you were there) just in like Tiktok DMs. It’s absolutely fine if not though of course, but i would also wonder if you had any suggestions of any people who’ve been to cuba / are heavily interested in it / have some kind of degree in the political field who’d be interested in answering just a couple of (probably quite broad) questions?
