positioning your specific character properly against their specific team comp in a map with tougher narrower angles IS a form of skill expression which is why actual good players don’t just prefer entire game modes over another they prefer maps that suit their mains

I am a high masters/low gm player and have played since 2016 and I swear new players choose a new thing to moan about every week. Payload maps have been the fan favourites for years and now suddenly no one likes them. Why do you think kings row gets landslide every single time 😭 I’d rather die than play flashpoint. Unless it’s new junk city that map is fun ❤️❤️

High ranks love FP and Control because of first fight winners advantage, the games are largely decided by who wins the first fight for that round/point. It's not because they're better maps, it's because it only takes one team fight to decide the game and therefore easier to min-max SR.
