@lilmssunshineeee: I just hope my organs aren’t getting infiltrated and I don’t become a surgeons story of how I had endo all over my organs, had to have bowels resectioned or part of my liver removed, or my gallbladder. I just sit home all day, in pain and hope it’s just all in my head. #endometriosis #endowarrior #chronicillness #healthcare #endometriosisawareness
I’m so sorry. My daughter has been gaslit for 6 years. I have been by her side fighting for her to get answers. We finally got referred to an endometriosis specialist. Surgery in September. Praying for you to get the proper help you need! 🙏

Girl I feel you I’m seeing dr Lui in January. And praying for her and her team to do surgery. I just had surgery this past October but she only “burnt” it and it’s already back… she even said it’s coming back and put me back on birth control. I had a hysterectomy also back in October also. My endo was so bad it was near my kidneys, liver, bladder, rectum. On my diaphragm (which is why your pain could be higher up). I had deep infiltrated endometriosis. I have pain almost daily, 5/10 most days butt my flare days I’m down for a week every three to 4 weeks. That’s why she puts on bc she thinks my last ovary with is still making me ovulate causing my flare ups. Endo destroyed my tubes and right ovary and my cervix too. I had two surgeries for endo already. I’m so tired that’s why we have mental health issues too. Like I would tell her wouldn’t you be depressed too if you were in pain everyday and get gaslit….

By the time a doctor took my pain seriously, the endometrial tissue had fused my bladder, colon, and uterus together and a 20 minute surgery took two hours. I had hoped it was better for young women by now. I’m so sorry you’re going through this 😔

I’m sorry you’re going through that. As a sufferer of fibromyalgia (which no one can cure or understand), chronic sinusitis and migraines along with a multitude of other things I’d love to say i understand but you have something different and I’m sure it hurts. Here’s the thing, I’ve been through surgery, on over 40 medications, at this point I feel like a lab rat every time I go to a hospital. It’s terrible and I hate the medical practice. The only thing that actually helps I can’t do because I’m a primary caretaker of 3 children and I will take pain over not being there for them. Just remember you aren’t alone, it sucks and it doesn’t have a fun ending. I would go to that surgeon and have them refer out to someone they know, trusts and communicates with regularly with a letter of recommendation and symptoms you can hand in. Come with a list of documents and find the right person you can work with.

You need an excision specialist that knows how to removed the endo that has spread. I’m from pa too and have a great excision specialist in the area if you want their info

Thankfully I found a gynecologist who understood pain from endometriosis. He was awesome. I ended up choosing a hysterectomy because after three surgeries to burn the endometrial lesions off they came back quickly. Best decision I ever made. That was in 2005, never regretted it.

Our medical industry is completely broken. Four weeks ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of my hips and lower back and I am in excruciating pain. I went to urgent care for the pain and they just accuse me of drug seeking. It’s been unbelievable!

I either live in a region that has better medical care or doctors are not as smart as they used to be. My endometriosis was treated successfully back in 1982 and it was advanced. I ended up having three children successfully later on.

We literally went to the ER with our daughter for chest pain and they treated us like pain seekers as well…
