@weststargroup: Tan Sri Dr. Syed Azman Syed Ibrahim, together with the senior management of The Weststar Group, recently participated in the Malaysia Aerospace & Defence Industry Mission to Australia, led by YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Defence, to strengthen strategic partnerships and advance bilateral cooperation in the aerospace and defence sectors. The delegation also included General Tan Sri Muhamad Norazlan Aris, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force; Lieutenant General Dato’ Hj Fazal Hj Abdul Rahman, Director-General of Defence Intelligence; Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Johari Abdul, Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament; and Her Excellency Datin Paduka Sharrina Abdullah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Australia. During the mission, the delegation visited leading Australian aerospace, the government, and research institutions, including the Australian Space Agency, Parliament House in Canberra, the University of Southern Queensland, the University of Adelaide, RTI Helidon Energetix & Test Complex, and the Queensland Parliament House. A key highlight of the mission was the signing of a Strategic Collaboration Agreement between Weststar Defence Industries and Rocket Technologies International (RTI) at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
