my autistic special interest is cluster B personality disorders and autism and ADHD, and people who do have autism or ADHD or both are a lot more likely to develop a cluster B personality disorder, not all borderlines are vary drastically I'm so excited to see the DSM6 because I believe it's too narrow but there are many theories about the ptsd+ND BPD overlap and how many autistic ppl w ptsd are probably misdiagnosed as borderline because although the overlap is large there are fundamental differences, I myself have severe-combined-ADHD and find it difficult to tell if I'm borderline or not, especially when ppl like myself, have an avoidant attachment style.

I know I have autism I’m 26 and all 3 younger siblings are diagnosed and they were because my mum saw traits i displayed soo she took them in so instead I got diagnosed with bipolar at 22 then when I said no this isn’t right the meds are not doing anything I want to look at other diagnosis’ the psychologist walked in with one piece of paper with the criteria for bpd and apparently I had 7or the like 9 or something and I’m definitely not that and I know that

I’m diagnosed autistic and I was almost diagnosed with a cluster b disorder as well. I would heavily recommend getting a second opinion
