Also there’s so much scholarship money out there! All they have to do is sit down with their kid and research scholarships together, create a spreadsheet to keep track, talk about upcoming deadlines, etc. College is expensive but there are ways to make it work if you care enough as a parent. These people don’t!

Literally the week my parents found out they were pregnant with me they opened up a college saving fund and both contributed to it each month until the month I graduated high school. That money combined with the merit scholarships I got meant i went to college that was paid in full and debt free

Parenting is a sacrifice. Period. I have my daughter’s college tuition already saved, but I had to sacrifice on things I would have loved to do (like certain travel) in order to do so. Our children deserve a good life.
