It’s a common name in Lancaster. I have a Hershey who works for me. His dad is a butcher who owns a meat market. But it’s not “Hersheys Meat Market”, that’s owned by someone else. They are also related to THE Auntie Ann and Herrs Chips. Welcome to PA.

Hersey ice cream is very popular in ice cream stands in tourist locations where you see the logo, but not the fine print. They appear to be intentionally capitalizing on the false assumption.
