Lamar Jackson is held to an impossible standard with a constantly moving goal post. Every time Lamar Jackson has been hurt in his career, it's been because his line failed him. Not because he's running outside the pocket as people assumed would happen. It's been him getting awkwardly hit, bent, and ankle rolled behind the line of scrimmage that was the result of poor offensive line play. You cannot diminish the cumulative psychological effect of your career and livelihood depending on Daniel Fa'alele not sucking. That would screw with anyone's head, and still Lamar managed to do his part in spite of his defense who [historically] can't stop anyone when it matters and one of the worst offensive lines in football.

Not just for the franchise but also for the impact it’ll have on the sport, and on a deeper level culturally.
