the difference is sustainability. jay put Memphis in a position to never need jay, if jay die tomorrow Memphis is straight. 50 put yayo in a position to need 50 if 50 die tomorrow then the well runs dry. one is in a position to take care of himself regardless, the other is positioned as a dependent.

Yayo gets booked overseas without 50. He’s just saying he doubts that Jay Z looked out for Bleek the way 50 looked out for him and I mean…..he isn’t wrong. Yayo was locked up and 50 still made sure he was paid for every show they did, and Yayo came home to over $1 million, and a penthouse in his name. Not only that but 50 literally went against their label who wanted him to put out his second album, and chose to promote Banks, Buck, and Yayo with the G Unit album.
