@brooke_clackley: I was nervous to be in pictures for my daughter’s newborn portraits. I was exhausted, sore, wearing a diaper, leaking milk, had little sleep, and so overwhelmed. I didn’t feel like I looked my best. But I’m so thankful we did them anyway. Looking back, I don’t notice the things I was so worried about—I just see the first days with my baby. If you’re questioning whether to be in the pictures, this is your reminder: take the photos.
